Norway to transfer six F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, first to arrive in 2024
Norway has decided to transfer six F-16 aircraft to Ukraine. According to Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, the delivery of the jets will take place this year

Støre emphasized that Ukraine's ability to defend itself from Russian air attacks is crucial in its defense efforts.
"Norway has decided to donate six F-16 fighters to Ukraine. We aim to start the donation process during 2024," the Norwegian Prime Minister said.
During a visit to Kyiv in 2023, Støre announced that Norway would provide F-16s to Ukraine. However, at that time, he did not specify how many fighters would be sent or when.

The Netherlands authorized export of F-16 to Ukraine. Ukraine will soon receive 24 Dutch F-16 fighters. The relevant permit has already been issued.
