Ukraine signs $600 million agreements with World Bank
Ukraine has signed nearly $600 million in agreements with the World Bank under the new RISE program, which stands for Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable Enterprises

Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced the initiative, which aims to support small and medium-sized businesses, promote green transition, improve the business environment, encourage digitalization, and help companies enter new markets.
The project will run until 2027, with a total planned budget of over $1 billion.
Shmyhal stated, “This will significantly strengthen the Ukrainian economy and help small and medium-sized businesses tackle modern challenges.”
- The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) are providing grant funding to Ukraine for developing its emergency assistance system.
