Ukraine lacks U.S. diplomatic support, says Polish expert
Polish expert and journalist Marek Sierant noted that the United States has many tools to pressure Russia but is not using any of them
He said this during a broadcast on the Espreso TV channel.
"Let’s look at the facts. The facts are that the U.S. believes it can pull Russia away from China, that it can push Ukraine into the background and negotiate with Iran, North Korea, and in the Pacific region, where there are also many flashpoints. On a global scale, Ukraine for the U.S. is just one of many issues it can discuss with Russia.
In Russia, there are also people who really enjoy trading with the U.S. Witkoff doesn’t travel there without a reason. He should be asked about his connections with Russian oligarchs, who are very fond of both the Russian and American film industries," Sierant noted.
According to the Polish expert, the facts show that Ukraine remains without diplomatic support from the United States.
"Military aid is still arriving, but we would like this aid to be broader. This assistance should be expanded, and new sanctions on Russia should be constantly imposed. But so far, we are not seeing this. The U.S. has different tools but is not using any of them," Sierant emphasized.
