SVT reports.
"We take into account the fact that the United States is currently the largest country providing military assistance to Ukraine. We appreciate it, we are grateful for it, we do not take it for granted. We will do our best to emphasize our will to support transatlantic commitments," the Swedish Prime Minister said.
He noted that he didn't want to jump to conclusions.
"We have been preparing for different scenarios, different developments for a long time, and we are well prepared for this," Kristersson said.
- On October 18, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the outcome of the U.S. presidential election would be crucial for Ukraine's future and its ambitions for NATO membership.
- Trump received 277 Electoral College votes in the election. Instead, it was enough to get 270 to become president of the United States.
