NATO Secretary General Rutte announces new military aid for Ukraine
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that in the coming days, Ukraine’s partners may announce new aid packages
He said this during a press conference ahead of the meeting in the Ramstein format.
When asked whether he expected the continuation of such Ramstein format meetings in the future, Rutte responded that they must continue.
The NATO Secretary General stated that the Contact Group had been working to engage allies in providing comprehensive support to Ukraine in its fight against Russia. He mentioned that countries like Canada, Sweden, France, and others were doing excellent work in this direction.
Rutte also anticipated that new aid announcements for Ukraine would be made by allies in the next two days.
He emphasized the importance of organizing the assistance to be provided to Ukraine, stressing that all aid must be delivered on time to help secure victory in the war.
- On Wednesday, February 12, the 26th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG) in the Ramstein format began in Brussels. Before its start, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met with his counterparts from the United Kingdom and the United States.
