NATO is preparing billions more in aid for Ukraine — Rutte
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that the Alliance is preparing “billions more in aid” for Ukraine

He wrote about this on social network X after a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump.
“Great to talk with Donald Trump. US and NATO are getting stronger. NATO Allies are moving quickly to invest more in defense. Big increases announced and others to follow,” Rutte wrote.
He added that allies are preparing billions more in aid to Ukraine, as well as contributions to security guarantees.
- The US officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that one of the security guarantees that the United States considers as part of the peace agreement is the automatic granting of NATO membership to Ukraine if Russia violates the peace agreement.
