AFU’s experience allows to rebuild defense and continue resistance near Bakhmut – Cherevaty

"This is war. In such a barrage of fire, critical infrastructure is also destroyed. However, the experience of more than a year of the large-scale war and the overall historical experience of waging war against the occupying forces allows us to rebuild our defense and continue to resist," Cherevaty said.

In addition, according to him, the situation in Bakhmut is difficult but controlled.

"This is a priority target for the enemy, but the command and personnel are doing everything to defend this settlement and inflict maximum losses on the enemy," emphasized the spokesman for Ukraine's forces in the east.

He also commented on the Russian president's desire to capture the entire territory of Luhansk and Donetsk regions by April. In particular, Cherevaty noted that there have already been 8 different dates by which the Russian leadership wants to gain control of Donbas.

"Thanks to the courage, heroism, professionalism and coordination of our soldiers and command, these deadlines have never been met. I have great faith that thanks to these qualities, the enemy will not be able to achieve its goals once again," he said.
