“The main reason for Prigozhin's statements is that he took on military obligations, is unable to fulfill them, including the capture of Bakhmut, and is inventing this nonsense about 'shell hunger',” Cherevatyi said, noting that Prigozhin's main problem is the constant destruction of his personnel by Ukrainian defenders.
The founder of the Wagner PMC wrote a letter to the leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry, in which he announced his intention to withdraw his mercenaries from Bakhmut on May 10.
Prigozhin has repeatedly spoken about the lack of ammunition, but Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu assures that the army has enough.
