92% of Ukrainians want the country to join the EU, and 79% want to join NATO
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology and the National Democratic Institute in Ukraine.
92% of respondents would like Ukraine to become a member of the EU by 2030. This figure has increased compared to May. 85% of respondents expect the country to enter this period, and this indicator has decreased in four months.
By 2030, 79% of Ukrainians would like Ukraine to join NATO, and in May there were 73%. 69% of respondents expect to join, as opposed to 65% in May.
In Western and Central Ukraine, the largest number of those who want to see the country in the EU are 95% and 93%, and in the east and south, about 89%. Also, in the western and central parts, more people support joining NATO - 86% and 81%. In the south - 73% of respondents, and in the east - 71% of respondents.
Compared to December 2021, 58% of Ukrainians would like Ukraine to join the EU, while 48% were in favor of NATO.
