52-year-old man injured due to Russian attack, another man hospitalized

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.

"Yesterday the enemy launched another massive missile attack on Ukraine. The infrastructure facilities of Kharkiv and the region suffered," Syniehubov wrote.

As a result of the missile attack, 2 civilian men aged 55 and 54 were killed. Also, a 52-year-old man was hospitalized. Doctors assess his condition as serious.

During the day, on December 29, Russian troops shelled the settlements bordering Russia in Kupyansk, Chuhuiv and Kharkiv districts with artillery.

A 60-year-old man died in Kupyansk due to Russian shelling.

A 43-year-old man suffered from a mine detonation in Snizhnivka village, Izium district. He is in moderate condition.

On December 29, 29 explosive items were seized and defused. Mine danger remains very high.

• On the night of December 29 Kharkiv suffered a massive drone attack. In total, 13 Shahed drones were launched at the city, 11 of which were successfully destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.  
• On the morning of December 29, Russia launched a massive strike on Ukraine with missiles and drones. Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs reported 3 dead and 6 injured Ukrainians as a result of the Russian attack; the State Emergency Service reported damage to 28 objects, including 10 critical infrastructure.
• On December 29, Oleh Syniehubov reported that a 50-year-old man died as a result of the shelling, later another injured man died in an ambulance.
