46 Iskander launchers is not many, question is how many missiles Russia will be able to provide - Ukraine's Air Force
Yuriy Ihnat, a spokesperson for Ukraine's Air Force Command, assured that the number of Iskander missile systems deployed by Russia along the border is not critical. The main question is how many missiles it will be able to provide for these systems
Yuriy Ihnat said this on the Rada TV channel as part of a telethon.
Yuriy Ihnat is confident that the number of Iskander missile systems that Russia has deployed along the border is not critical, as Ukraine's air defense is powerful and constantly being strengthened.
"I would not say that there are that many of them. These are certainly unpleasant numbers for us, but a grouping of 700 airplanes and helicopters also sounds threatening," said the Air Force spokesman.
In particular, according to Ihnat, the Ukrainian front line, which stretches from the Belarusian border to the southern regions, is quite long. Therefore, to analyze the threat from such installations that Russia possesses, we need to take into account the length of the border.
"The question is how many missiles the invader will be able to provide for these installations," Ihnat noted. "The calculations made by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine show that they will not be able to provide enough missiles for these installations."
