10 more Leopard tanks to be sent to Ukraine this week - Polish Defense Ministry

Poland will send ten more Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine this week. Thus, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive the second batch of the promised 14 tanks.
Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said this at a press conference on March 7, The Guardian reports.
"Four (tanks) are already in Ukraine, another 10 will go to Ukraine this week," the minister said.
In total, Poland has promised to send 14 Leopard 2 tanks.
- On February 24, Poland became the first country to successfully transfer the first four Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine.
- On February 27, it became known that Ukraine would also receive 60 T-72 and PT-91 Twardy tanks from Poland.
