Zhadan and BoomBox present music video for soundtrack to Peaceful-21 film

"From February 22, 2023, the military action drama Peaceful-21 by Akhtem Seitablayev was released at the national box office. Today, the creators presented the music video for the OST ‘Truth’, based on footage from the film. The song was created by Andrii Khlyvniuk (BoomBox’s vocalist), who wrote the chorus, Serhii Zhadan, who is the author of the verses, and Usein Bekirov, who created the music and arrangements," the message reads.

Peaceful-21 drama tells about the events that took place in the border region of Luhansk in June 2014.  At that time, the Russian special services and militants incited the fighters of the Luhansk border detachment to betray Ukraine, repeating the Crimean scenario: to seize Ukrainian territories without a fight.

The music video also features film clips in which we can see Ukrainian theater and film actor, singer and composer Pavlo Li, a native of Crimea, who was killed by Russian troops in Irpin during the first days of the full-scale offensive on Kyiv in 2022.
