According to the German publication, Zelenskyy will fly to Berlin on May 13. A spokeswoman for the police in the German capital confirmed the visit, but refused to provide more details about the planned security measures.
It is expected that Zelenskyy will land in the military part of the Berlin airport. According to BZ, he should check in at the Ritz-Carlton hotel. The highest level of security will be implemented around Potsdam Square, where the hotel is located.
On May 14, Volodymyr Zelenskyy is expected to meet with Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz. He will also hold talks with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and hold a press conference.
In the afternoon, the President of Ukraine is scheduled to fly by helicopter to Aachen, where he will be awarded the Charlemagne Prize. After that, Zelenskyy will return to Ukraine.
