He said this at a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities in Ivano-Frankivsk, Censor.NET reports.

Let some representatives of local authorities not be offended by me, now is definitely not the time to replace the pavement. We will not drive the enemy out of our country with paving stones. So, sorry, we will decorate the cities that have already been won. We should also look for extra-budgetary sources for other areas of work. We can talk to donors," he stressed.

Zelenskyy also called on local authorities to help the military, frontline regions, volunteers, and to assist in the treatment and rehabilitation of civilians who have been injured.

For the same reasons, he vetoed the law allocating UAH 573.9 million to complete the construction of the Holodomor Museum.
