Zelenskyy tells how normal life returns to Mykolaiv and Kherson regions
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that normal life is gradually returning to the de-occupied settlements of the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
Zelenskyy said this in an evening video message.
"We are doing everything possible to provide people with electricity, water, communications, financial and social services, and proper medicine as soon as possible in liberated territories of the Kherson region. In Kherson, pharmacies are finally opening again, mail and banks have started working, and people are getting access to the Internet. There are already 30 points of humanitarian aid distribution. The electricity is returned in more than 20 de-occupied settlements of the Kherson region. In the Mykolaiv region, the same situation. We return everything necessary for a normal life. We are working to restore the water supply to Mykolaiv. In Snihurivka, the payment of pensions has begun," says Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The president also drew attention to the work of sappers and rescuers in the de-occupied territories.
"And I thank everyone who provides recovery. And especially to our sappers and rescuers. Thanks to their work, everyone else can work safely. I will repeat once again to everyone in the de-occupied territory: please be very careful! Russia wants to kill even after fleeing our land. Therefore, we need to be very careful," President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed.
