President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on Russia's night attack on Ukraine on August 2 and called on the world to respond to Russia's crimes, as they pose a threat to the entire population
He wrote about this on Telegram.
"Another night of war, another night of our heroic air defense. We are defending ourselves to the maximum of our capabilities. We shot down a lot of "shaheds". Fortunately, there were no casualties," Zelenskyy said.
The president added that the Russian attack caused damage, the most significant of which was in the south of the country.
According to him, Russian terrorists once again hit ports, grain, and global food security. At the same time, all operational services worked effectively.
"The world must respond. When civilian ports are targeted, when terrorists deliberately destroy even grain elevators, it is a threat to everyone on all continents. Russia can and must be stopped," the country's leader emphasized.
