Zelenskyy, Norwegian PM agree to start talks on security guarantees
On October 18, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre. The leaders agreed to hold bilateral talks on security guarantees within the framework of the G7 joint declaration

This was reported by Zelenskyy and the President's Office.
The leaders discussed the current situation at the front and further defense cooperation between the countries. Particular attention was paid to strengthening the Ukrainian air defense system to protect critical infrastructure, ports, and the grain corridor.
At the same time, Zelenskyy invited Norway to take part in the next meeting of national security advisers to the leaders of the states on the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
"The sides agreed to start bilateral talks on security guarantees within the framework of the G7 Joint Declaration in support of Ukraine," the statement said.
- On October 17, Zelenskyy spoke on the phone with his South African counterpart Cyril Ramaphosa. During the conversation, the leaders discussed the export of Ukrainian grain, the Peace Formula, and the situation in the Middle East.
