Ukraine is interested in the stability of the region and friendly relations with its countries. We also discussed our bilateral cooperation and interregional economic projects," the statement said.

Talks with Emmanuel Macron

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during a "powerful meeting" with President Macron, he discussed bolstering Ukraine's air defence, as well as the security of the Odesa region and the Black Sea. The President also announced "good news" for Ukrainian soldiers.

"Bolstering Ukraine's air defence, as well as the security of the Odesa region and the Black Sea, is critical for the stability of our entire Europe and the world. We are working together towards this goal. All our previous agreements to strengthen Ukraine's defence are being implemented. There will be even more good news for our soldiers. I am grateful to President Macron and the French people for their firm and constant support of Ukraine," he wrote.

Meeting with President of the European Council Charles Michel

The President said that the recent meeting of EU foreign ministers in Kyiv had "a critical symbolic and practical significance.”

"It confirmed the unwavering support of the European Union and strengthened our bilateral and multilateral ties," he wrote.

Zelenskyy thanked the EU for its support and discussed the security situation and Ukraine’s counter-offensive with Charles Michel.

"I informed Charles about the progress of our counter-offensive and the priority defence needs of Ukraine. We are counting on further military assistance from the EU and its member states, as well as on stable support from the European Peace Facility. We also discussed the Peace Formula and our preparations for the Global Peace Summit," the Ukrainian President said.

Meeting with President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola

Zelenskyy said that he held this meeting "to thank her for supporting Ukraine.”

"We have almost fulfilled seven EU recommendations and will be ready to start negotiations on accession to the EU this year. We also discussed further sanctions and steps to counter Russian propaganda," he said.
