Zelenskyy is preparing to run away, Europe will crawl to Russia, Lukashenko says
Self-proclaimed Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has suggested that the war in the Middle East will distract the world from Russian aggression in Ukraine
He said this at a meeting with representatives of the labor collective and builders of the Belarusian NPP, social infrastructure workers and residents of Ostrovets, BelTA reports.
"Ukraine will still be ours. No one needs this Ukraine. The turmoil in the Middle East... I warned you when the war started, I called Zelensky: 'Volodymyr, listen to me, an experienced person, I've been working for years. As soon as there's a mess somewhere, they'll forget about you.' And what's happening? Ukraine is fading into the background," Lukashenko said.
In his opinion, the United States will leave Ukraine to its own devices, like Afghanistan.
"Therefore, this region (Ukraine - ed.) is our region. In the sense that we will be together," the Belarusian dictator said.
According to him, sooner or later "Europe will crawl to us, to Russia."
And President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to Lukashenko, is "preparing to run away somewhere" with money.
