Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Ihor Zhovkva reported the information.
At the EU summit on February 9, Viktor Orban and Volodymyr Zelenskyy met: the Hungarian prime minister was the first to shake hands with the Ukrainian president.
According to the official, the prime minister and the president discussed Ukraine's European integration path: that's when Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited Viktor Orban to Kyiv.
"The President of Ukraine has repeatedly invited Prime Minister Viktor Orban to come to Ukraine, to Kyiv. To sit down at the table and talk about all aspects, including those of concern to Hungary. We are ready to offer our approaches on how to solve this," Ihor Zhovkva told reporters.
