Zelenskyy holds talks with Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Friday, September 22

According to the president, the main issues discussed with the Prime Minister of Canada included defense needs of Ukraine, continuation of financial and humanitarian support, economic and investment cooperation between the countries.
"Thank you for standing with Ukraine for our victory," Zelenskyy added.
The same day, Ukraine’s president and the First Lady met with Governor General of Canada Mary Simon and her husband, Whit Fraser. Zelenskyy thanked for Canada's clear position in support of Ukraine's independence and sovereignty.
"We are grateful to the Canadian government and the Canadian people for the sincere and powerful support we have felt especially since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. For the fact that thousands of our people have found refuge in your country, and you take care of them with all the warmth," Zelenskyy wrote.

He attended the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, addressed the Security Council, and held talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis. Zelenskyy also met with the President of Brazil.
- On September 21, Zelenskyy met with US President Joe Biden in Washington. During his meeting with the Ukrainian leader, Biden announced a new aid package that will include more artillery, ammunition, and anti-tank weapons.
