During a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron, Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized Ukraine's request for heavy weapons and combat aircraft

The German publication Bild writes about it.

It is noted that Volodymyr Zelenskyy tried to convince the leaders of France and Germany to provide Ukrainian soldiers with heavy weapons and combat aircraft.

"France and Germany have the potential to turn the situation around, this is exactly how I see our negotiations today. The sooner Ukraine gets powerful long-range weapons, the sooner our pilots get modern planes… the sooner Russian aggression ends ," said the President of Ukraine.

French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz personally assured President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of supporting Ukraine "as long as necessary" after their meeting on the evening of February 8.
