This is reported by the Center for National Resistance.
Due to the specificity and complexity of the profession, the invading forces cannot recruit other workers for the station, as there is a shortage of specialists throughout Russia. However, ZNPP employees are not allowed to work either - they are summoned for interrogation and their family members are threatened.
"At the same time, the Russian administration claims that there is no shortage of personnel, but this information is not true. Currently, the plant is not generating electricity and is in fact a blackmail tool in the hands of the invaders," the Resistance writes.
- On January 20, it became known that the Russians had mined the occupied ZNPP again and continued to block access to certain facilities.
- On January 26, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said that the situation with nuclear safety and security at ZNPP remains extremely fragile.
- On January 26, it became known that all six reactors of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP are about to expire. This could lead to a radiation accident.
