Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant switches to minimum operating power following supply network damage
Zaporizhzhya NPP has had to slash its electricity use following damage to the electricity supply, cutting back to the minimum it needs to operate
Energoatom shared this information in Telegram.
"Due to damage to the 330 kV high-voltage line in South Ukraine, the Zaporizhzhya NPP was turned to the minimum power level to ensure the stable operation of the energy system, which only provides power to its own needs", the report says.
