YouTube blocks Ukrainian-language version of ‘Ecocide’ documentary about Russian crimes
YouTube has blocked the Ukrainian-language version of the documentary by the ZSU Strategic Committee ‘Ecocide’. The world has no choice but to stop Russian aggression
Taras Dziuba, Chief Specialist of the Strategic Communications Department of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief's Office, told IMI.
According to him, the Ukrainian-language version of the film was blocked immediately after publication, apparently due to massive complaints from Russians.
"We posted two versions at the same time, but YouTube blocked one. We don't understand why the Ukrainian version, because they are identical. The only thing is that they are in different languages," Dziuba said.
The team of the Strategic Committee of the Ukrainian Armed Forces appealed to YouTube to explain the reasons for the blocking.
"This is strange. Because the previous videos were about the enemy's policy towards our children. There were two movies. The first was called ‘Abduction. Children’, and the second one was ‘Wounded Children, Crippled Fates’. They showed much more severe examples. I mean, in terms of harshness, how it can affect morale and psyche. It was much tougher there, and those films were not blocked. But the ‘Ecocide’ was blocked for an hour, and that's interesting," Dziuba said.
