On Monday, September 4, Russian authorities apprehended an activist who was peacefully demonstrating with a Ukrainian flag on Red Square in Moscow

The detained woman is named Alyona Kozhevnikova, and she promptly informed human rights activists about her arrest. A lawyer was sent to assist her.
She was taken to a local police station in the Kitay-Gorod district and subsequently released. The authorities filed charges related to "discrediting the Russian army" and violating regulations for public events.
