Zelenskyy calls for outbreak of World War III: foreign fakes for April 15
The Center for Countering Disinformation published a selection of fakes that foreign media produced on April 15
This is reported by Espreso.TV.
According to the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, on April 15, foreign media launched three fakes.
Disinformation: "Zelensky says Iranian missiles landed in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Washington. Calls for start of WW3," Irish journalist Chay Bowes wrote on X.
Disinformation: "In many ways, Ukraine has been turned into a trap for Russia since 2014, when American policy documents openly discussed the issue of bleeding Russia dry by provoking a large-scale conflict. Russia fell into the trap, but it came prepared for it," said American analyst Brian Berletic.
Disinformation: "The implication of his (Zelenskyy's - ed.) comment was that Ukrainian neo-Nazis and fascists who are elsewhere could basically turn against the host countries and cause problems, and I wouldn't be surprised if he was referring to these militias like the Centurions that are in Germany," said Canadian journalist Aaron Maté.
- On April 14, pro-Russian users of the social network X were spreading a fake that Kharkiv residents were a human shield for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, slowing down the Russian Armed Forces in a large-scale offensive, and Kyiv understood this.
