Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of Defense Sabrina Singh said this at a briefing the day before, Ukrinform reports.
Singh stated that Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov will visit the Pentagon tomorrow to meet with Minister Austin, highlighting the United States' ongoing commitment to supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and security.
A representative of the US Department of Defense noted that the ministers will discuss bilateral defense cooperation and regional security issues.
In addition, the talks will focus on ways to strengthen the defense partnership between the United States and Ukraine.
- The last meeting between Austin and Umerov took place within the framework of the 23rd meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense in the Ramstein format on June 13.
