Ukraine and UK launch joint mega-project for drone production – Defense Minister

This was announced by Ukraine’s Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

He said that under the plan, during the first three years, the UK will fund the purchase of a wide range of Ukrainian drones that will be produced in Britain.

The Defense Minister said this will allow British defense firms to quickly design and mass-produce state-of-the-art drones.

"While the war continues, all production will be directed to meet the needs of the Defense Forces. After the war ends, the UK and Ukraine will share the produced drones between themselves," Umerov said.

He believes this will help scale up advanced technologies, boost drone output, and link up both countries' defense industries.
