Stefanishyna meets Stoltenberg in Brussels, discusses plan to establish "humanitarian shield" for Ukraine
Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Olha Stefanishyna, held talks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels

Key topics included the execution of decisions from the NATO Summit in Washington. Notably, they addressed the proposal for a "humanitarian shield" — a protective security zone over western Ukraine.
The meeting highlighted Ukraine's need to strengthen its air defense systems. Stefanishyna stressed the urgency of acquiring additional resources to shield civilians from ongoing Russian strikes.
The two also discussed expediting the NSATU initiative, which aims to streamline the coordination of security assistance to Ukraine.
Stefanishyna further emphasized the importance of monitoring the financial contributions from NATO allies, particularly in light of the commitment to provide €40 billion in aid by 2025.
