Polskie Radio reported on the statement.
According to Tomczyk, Ukraine should face no restrictions in this regard, although he acknowledged that few countries share this stance.
"Currently, it appears that Russia is acting with impunity, while Ukraine faces limitations imposed by certain countries. This needs to change. Poland's stance is clear - Ukraine should have the capability to fight with the equipment it receives, and Poland has no objections to this," emphasized Tomczyk.
The official also urged Poland's allies to ensure that such restrictions are lifted.
- Previously, it was reported that the Parliamentary Assembly of the North Atlantic Alliance had called on NATO member governments to permit Ukraine to use Western weapons to strike targets within Russian territory.
