Poland sends military aircraft into sky after Russian missile strike on Ukraine

This was reported by the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces.

They stated that due to the activity of Russian long-range aviation striking targets, including those in western Ukraine, Polish military aircraft began operating in the country’s airspace.

The Polish military emphasized that they are closely monitoring the situation, and all forces and equipment under Operational Command are fully ready to respond immediately.

  • As a reminder, on the morning of April 6, a nationwide air alert was declared in Ukraine. Russia launched cruise and ballistic missiles. Air defense was active in the capital, and there are reports of casualties.
