NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced this before the ministerial meeting in Brussels, reports Reuters.
"We have seen several examples of sabotage, of arson attempts, of cyber attacks, of disinformation," he said, adding that at the June 13 meeting in Brussels, defense ministers will "address the Russian campaign of hostile activities against NATO allies."
Stoltenberg mentioned that the ministers would discuss response options, including the protection of critical maritime and cyber infrastructure, as well as "tighter restrictions on Russian intelligence personnel across the alliance."
- US intelligence officials and their allies are monitoring an increase in sabotage operations in Europe, believed to be part of a Russian campaign to undermine aid to Ukraine.
