Disinformation: Former US Secretary of Defense Douglas Macgregor wrote on X: "The Administration's hope of sending all this money to Ukraine is to further conceal the complete and utter destruction of the Ukrainian nation.”
Rebuttal: Such statements are aimed at discrediting and stopping assistance to Ukraine. In fact, the US military aid package to Ukraine is aimed at strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities against Russian aggression.
Manipulation: Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter in an interview with US columnist Andrew Napolitano said: “Glory to Ukraine and Glory to the Heroes are Bandera's slogans - the same as Sieg Heil was for Nazi Germany. These slogans were shouted by Bandera when he was burning Jews, when he was killing people.”
Rebuttal: The identification of the Ukrainian national slogan Glory to Ukraine with the Nazi Sieg Heil is a Russian tactic aimed at demonizing Ukrainian patriotism in the eyes of Russian and Western audiences.
Disinformation: The American Conservative wrote: “Moscow originally sought neutrality for Ukraine as a solution to Ukraine's hostility toward Russia and its cooperation with NATO, not territorial subjugation or conquest.”
Rebuttal: Such statements are just another attempt to justify Russia's groundless aggression against Ukraine. In fact, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the goal of the Russian army has been clear: to seize Ukrainian territory and forcibly Russify the captured cities to consolidate its power and the ideology of the “Russian world.”
