Russian and Chinese military aircraft intercepted near Alaska

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) reported this incident.

On July 24, NORAD detected, tracked, and intercepted two Russian Tu-95 military aircraft and two Chinese H-6 bombers.

Russian and Chinese fighter jets were operating in Alaska's air defense identification zone.

The intercepts were conducted by NORAD fighters from the United States and Canada.
