On July 24, NORAD detected, tracked, and intercepted two Russian Tu-95 military aircraft and two Chinese H-6 bombers.
Russian and Chinese fighter jets were operating in Alaska's air defense identification zone.
The intercepts were conducted by NORAD fighters from the United States and Canada.
- On July 14, China’s Ministry of Defense announced that Chinese and Russian naval forces had completed another round of joint exercises.
