Japan to open trade mission in Ukraine
Ukraine's Ministry of Economy has completed the registration of a representative office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). Its opening will help deepen trade ties between the two countries

According to the report, the opening of the representative office will accelerate the introduction of Japanese technologies in Ukraine and open up new markets for Japanese brand products to be manufactured in Ukraine.
According to Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Representative of Ukraine, the opening of JETRO's office in Ukraine is a "strategic step" made possible by productive negotiations with the Japanese government. According to him, it "marks the beginning of a new era of cooperation" between Japan and Ukraine.
"We are committed to creating an attractive business environment that will attract Japanese investment and foster a strong partnership between Ukrainian and Japanese companies," Kachka emphasized.
He added that Japan plans to provide $188 million to support Ukraine's economic recovery projects. Ukraine's priorities include energy, utilities, critical infrastructure, humanitarian demining, and business support.
