Oleg Magaletsky, a researcher of regionalism in the Russian Federation and co-organizer of the Free Nations Forum, believes that terrorist attacks in Russia will continue, as this is how the Kremlin is trying to restore contacts with the rest of the world

He said this on Espreso TV.

"In my opinion, the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall shopping center was the first iteration of modern terrorist attacks in Russia. Because the Putin regime has not invented anything new. Putin and his team of war criminals came to power in Russia on a wave of terror. They started with the same thing in 1999. This is a well-established practice for them," Magaletsky explained.

The researcher believes that Putin's regime has decided to use terrorism to restore ties with other states.

"Most likely, the purpose of the terrorist attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation is not the regime's internal policy. As for mobilization, although it is difficult for them to conduct it, the Kremlin manages to recruit Russians for the war against Ukraine under its total control. I think that these terrorist attacks were and will be used for Moscow's foreign policy. They are trying to restore contacts with the world, emphasizing that they have a common enemy - terrorism," he added.

For reference: The Free Nations of Postrussia Forum is an international public platform that brings together leaders of enslaved countries and regional movements of modern Russia and representatives of political, diplomatic, media and analytical institutions of free countries for the peaceful and non-violent decolonization of modern Russia.

  • Professor of New York University Igor Eisenberg expressed his belief on Espreso that the intelligence services of the United States and other Western countries will not provide Russians with additional information about the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall shopping center. According to the expert, the intelligence services of Western countries will not risk their sources of information.
