Iran labels Russia as traitor over failed commitments — Center for Middle Eastern Studies

Serhii Danylov, deputy director of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, shared the information on Espreso TV.

“Iran reacted very sharply and negatively to Putin’s complimentary words to Trump about the campaign to assist Israel. Iran’s new image of Russia now includes the failure to deliver the promised Su-35 jets. The Iranians paid all the bills, the pilots completed the full training course, and we with the F-16 remember that this takes more than a month. Danylov concluded that in Iran, Russia has an extremely negative image as a betrayer country that failed to fulfill its obligations and can no longer be considered a reliable partner.
