IMF releases $880 million third tranche to Ukraine
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced on Tuesday, March 26, that Ukraine has received the third tranche of financial support under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program, totaling $880 million
He shared this update on his Telegram channel.
According to Shmyhal, these funds will be used to cover essential budgetary expenses and maintain macroeconomic stability.
"Ukraine continues to meet its commitments to our partners. We are already gearing up for the next program review. We appreciate the IMF's support and collaboration," he stated.
- On March 22, the IMF's Executive Board completed the third review of the EFF program for Ukraine, approving the disbursement of approximately $880 million.
