Blinken set to visit UK for discussions on Ukraine
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to the United Kingdom on September 9-10 for discussions focusing on Ukraine and the Middle East

The U.S. State Department shared this news in a statement on September 8.
Matthew Miller, State Department spokesperson, confirmed that during Blinken's visit to London, he will initiate a strategic dialogue between the U.S. and the UK.
“Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to the United Kingdom September 9-10, where he will open the U.S.-UK Strategic Dialogue, reaffirming our special relationship,” the statement reads.
Additionally, Blinken will engage with senior officials to address issues concerning the Indo-Pacific region, the AUKUS defense pact between the U.S., Australia, and the UK, and the Middle East, as well as joint efforts to support Ukraine in its fight against Russia.
- The White House also announced that on September 13, U.S. President Joe Biden will host British Prime Minister Keir Starmer for a bilateral meeting.
