ICE’s posted the information on X.

“Here are photos of Ukrainian aliens' first moments back home following their removal from the United States,” the post reads.

In a comment to Espreso, Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service said it has not recorded any mass deportations of Ukrainians from the U.S.

“Every country has sovereign rights to expel (return, remove, or deport) foreign nationals who violate its immigration laws or commit other offenses while in the country. Moreover, informing the relevant authorities of the citizen’s country of origin in such cases is not always mandatory,” said Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service.

He also explained that Ukrainian citizens deported or removed by immigration authorities of other countries are processed for entry into Ukraine under the usual border procedures.

“Ukrainian citizens can under no circumstances be restricted from exercising their constitutional right to return to Ukraine. In other cases, as provided for by international agreements during extradition within criminal procedural measures, such individuals are transferred with prior notification and usually accompanied by police representatives,” Demchenko added.
