“Ukraine can't win without provoking nuclear war": world media manipulations on July 26
Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of anti-Ukrainian manipulations launched by the world media on July 26
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, two manipulations appeared in the world media on July 26.
Manipulation: Former Advisor to the US Secretary of Defense Douglas Mcgregor wrote in X: “Ukraine needs peace and humanitarian assistance, not more weapons that will change nothing on the battlefield.”
Counterclaim: Such statements are intended to confuse international audiences about the effectiveness of Western military aid to Ukraine and to encourage its termination. In fact, Western arms supplies help defend Ukrainian territory from Russian aggression.
Manipulation: Former British diplomat Craig Murray stated: “Ukraine can in no way win this war without inflicting so much damage on Russia itself, at the heart of Russia, that it will provoke nuclear war. There is no way to win this war without provoking nuclear annihilation.
Counterclaim: With these statements, Craig Murray is playing along with the Kremlin's nuclear blackmail to intimidate the civilized world and thus encourage it to stop opposing Russia's bloody aggression.
