Ukraine approves roadmaps for first cluster in EU accession talks
On Wednesday, May 14, the Ukrainian government approved Roadmaps necessary for opening the first cluster in Ukraine's pre-accession negotiations with the European Union

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this.
The Roadmaps relate to the rule of law, public administration reforms, and the functioning of democratic institutions.
According to Shmyhal, they fully align with Ukraine's international commitments, strategic, and programmatic documents.
The government also approved the negotiation position for the first cluster of talks, Foundations of the EU Accession Process.
"We are taking important steps towards EU membership. Our goals are unchanged: this year, we aim to open negotiations on all six negotiation clusters, and after the war, become an integral part of a united Europe," emphasized the Prime Minister
- Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice Olha Stefanishyna stated that Ukraine has an agreement with EU countries and the European Commission to open the negotiation tracks for Ukraine's accession to the bloc simultaneously.
