UK, allies must be ready to react immediately if Ukraine-Russia peace deal happens — Starmer
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that the United Kingdom and its allies must be ready to respond immediately if a peace agreement is reached between Ukraine and Russia

He made this statement during a visit aboard a nuclear submarine, Reuters reports.
“We're working at pace because we don't know if there'll be a deal. I certainly hope there will be, but if there's a deal, it's really important that we're able to react straight away,” Starmer said.
The British Prime Minister added that his country’s and its allies’ plans are focused on ensuring the security of Ukraine’s airspace, sea, and borders, as well as working with Ukrainians.
- Earlier, an aide to the Russian dictator, Yuri Ushakov, reported that negotiations between Russian and U.S. delegations would take place in Riyadh on Monday, March 24.
- Later, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a meeting of Ukrainian and American technical teams in Saudi Arabia on March 24.
