UAE announces intention to conclude partnership agreement with Ukraine and resume trade

He made this statement during his speech at the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.

Gargash expressed that he would like to see Ukraine and the UAE sign a partnership agreement and deepen trade relations, emphasizing that this was urgently needed at a time like this.

He also emphasized the need to "strengthen Ukraine's economy and help the private sector rebuild its country." 

However, in his opinion, if peace is not achieved through negotiations, economic efforts between the countries will not be productive. 

• On Sunday, June 16, the second day of the Global Peace Summit started in the Swiss city of Burgenstock. The talks will focus on food security, avoiding nuclear disaster and the return of deported children.
