U.S. President Donald Trump said that Ukraine, headed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has not yet signed the final agreement on rare earth metals, but hopes that this will happen immediately

“Ukraine, headed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has not signed the final papers on the very important Rare Earths Deal with the United States. It is at least three weeks late. Hopefully, it will be signed IMMEDIATELY,” he wrote.
He also added that work on a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine is “generally going smoothly.”
“Success seems to be in the future!” Trump said.
- On April 16, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko said that there is a positive step in the negotiations between Ukraine and the United States on an agreement on rare earth minerals, which they have agreed to record in a memorandum of intent.
