Trump says he may meet Putin "very soon" to discuss Ukraine-Russia ceasefire

"U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday he believes he could meet ‘very soon’ with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss ending the war in Ukraine," the statement reads.

Speaking to journalists, Trump said he is working hard to achieve peace in Ukraine. He also stressed that he believes both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy want to end the war.

Additionally, the American president emphasized that Zelenskyy will participate in peace talks between Russia and the U.S.
