Trump believes Putin
Bloomberg reports that after a call with Putin, Trump told European leaders in conversations that he believes "Russia is winning"
The reality, meanwhile, is completely different. DeepState reports that Russia’s offensive pace has halved, and at this rate, it would take over a hundred years to occupy all of Ukraine.
"But Trump doesn’t hear that. He doesn’t hear Ukrainians. He doesn’t hear his allies in Europe. He doesn’t hear U.S. intelligence or conservative media. Not even his own team."
Because he listens to only one person — Putin. Because he believes only Putin is “on his level.”
Because admitting he’s been fooled again would mean admitting weakness. And Trump never admits weakness. Ever.
And this isn’t the first time. Nor will it be the last. No matter what we say, no matter what approaches or arguments we use, he chooses to believe Putin. And unless Putin seriously messes up or directly insults Trump, he’s unlikely to change his mind.
