The outlet noted that Erdoğan welcomed the ceasefire between Iran and Israel, “achieved through the efforts of U.S. President Trump.”
The leaders discussed bilateral relations, as well as Russia’s war against Ukraine and the resolution of the crisis in Gaza.
Erdoğan and Trump also emphasized the importance of strengthening NATO’s deterrence capabilities.
- Earlier, Erdoğan stated that his country would take steps to continue the Istanbul process, which aims to end Russia’s war against Ukraine.
